Qc Mucus Rlf Cold Flu & Throat Coupons & Savings Card – Discount Prices from $13.41
This combination medication is designed to temporarily alleviate symptoms such as cough, chest congestion, fever, body aches, and a stuffy nose, which can result from the common cold, flu, or other respiratory conditions like sinusitis and bronchitis. It contains guaifenesin, which is an expectorant that helps to thin and loosen mucus in the lungs, making it easier to expel. Dextromethorphan acts as a cough suppressant by targeting the brain's cough center, reducing the urge to cough. Decongestants are included to help relieve nasal congestion. Additionally, the product includes acetaminophen, a non-aspirin pain reliever and fever reducer.
This medication is typically not recommended for persistent coughs associated with smoking, asthma, long-term respiratory issues such as emphysema, or coughs with excessive mucus, unless specifically advised by a healthcare professional. It is important to note that cough-and-cold products have not been proven safe or effective for children under 6 years of age. Do not use this medication for cold symptoms in children under 6 unless directed by a doctor, and some forms (like long-acting tablets or capsules) are not suitable for children under 12 years. Consult a doctor or pharmacist for guidance on safe usage.
These medications do not cure or reduce the duration of the common cold and may lead to serious side effects if not used as directed. To minimize risks, strictly adhere to the recommended dosage instructions. Avoid using this product to induce sleepiness in children and refrain from administering other cough-and-cold products that could contain similar ingredients. For additional relief from cough and cold symptoms, consider non-medication options such as staying hydrated, using a humidifier, or applying saline nose drops or sprays. Always consult a healthcare professional for further advice and information on managing symptoms safely.

One ingredient in this product is acetaminophen. Taking too much acetaminophen may cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. Adults should not take more than 4000 milligrams (4 grams) of acetaminophen a day. People with liver problems and children should take less acetaminophen. Ask your doctor or pharmacist how much acetaminophen is safe to take. Do not use with any other drug containing acetaminophen without asking your doctor or pharmacist first.
