SaveHealth is currently only available to U.S. residents and in Puerto Rico.

When a doctor prescribes a brand version of medication most pharmacies will fill the order with the generic version of the medicine.  This is because the pharmacy wants to help you get the lowest possible price. SaveHealth displays the generic price because this is the price you will most likely pay.

There are a few circumstances where a doctor will prescribe a brand medication to you and designate it as “dispense as written”. In this situation your pharmacy must dispense the brand version of your medication and therefore they will have to charge you the higher brand price.
