Romvimza FAQs
What is the mechanism of action of Romvimza?

Romvimza, also known as ramucirumab, is a monoclonal antibody that targets the vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR-2). By binding to VEGFR-2, it inhibits the receptor's activation by its natural ligands, which are involved in angiogenesis, the process of new blood vessel formation. This inhibition can reduce the blood supply to tumors, thereby limiting their growth and proliferation.
