Black Cohosh Root Side Effects

Headache, stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, weight gain, vaginal spotting/bleeding, and dizziness may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, contact your doctor promptly. To reduce the risk of dizziness and lightheadedness, get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position. Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including: muscle pain/weakness. This product may rarely cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. Stop taking this product and consult your doctor right away if you develop symptoms of liver injury, including nausea that doesn't stop, loss of appetite, unusual tiredness, stomach/abdominal pain, pale stools, dark urine, yellowing eyes/skin. A very serious allergic reaction to this product is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
