• Single-Patient Use: The EasyTouch® meter and lancing device are designed for use by one individual only. Sharing these devices, even with family members, can lead to the transmission of infectious diseases.

• Proper Disposal of Biohazardous Materials: All components that come into contact with blood, such as test strips and lancets, are considered biohazardous. Dispose of them properly to prevent potential health hazards.

• Use of Sterile Lancets: Always use a new, sterile lancet for each test. Reusing lancets can increase the risk of infection and may affect the accuracy of test results.

• Avoiding Contamination: Ensure that your hands are clean and dry before handling the meter, test strips, and lancing device. Keep these components free from lotions, oils, dirt, or debris to maintain their functionality and accuracy.

• Storage Conditions: Store test strips in their original vial, tightly sealed, at room temperature between 39°F and 86°F (4°C to 30°C). Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight, as these conditions can compromise their effectiveness.
