To ensure reliable blood glucose readings, it's recommended to use the control solution in the following situations:

• Before using the system for the first time.
• When opening a new vial of test strips.
• If you suspect the meter or test strips are not working properly.
• If the test strip vial has been left open or exposed to extreme temperatures or humidity.
• Whenever you want to confirm the system's performance.
