Cabozantinib may rarely cause serious, possibly fatal, stomach/abdominal side effects such as a hole in the gut wall (perforation) or an abnormal tunnel or connection in your body (fistula). Cabozantinib may also rarely cause a serious brain condition. Get medical help right away if you develop headaches, seizures, vision changes, confusion, or problems thinking. Tell your doctor right away if you have any signs of infection (such as sore throat that doesn't go away, fever, chills, cough). When used with the medication nivolumab, cabozantinib may cause your adrenal glands not to work well. Tell your doctor right away if you have any signs of your adrenal glands not working well (such as loss of appetite, unusual tiredness, weight loss). A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
