Trispec Pse Side Effects
When taking this medication, you might experience some mild side effects such as dizziness, headache, nausea, nervousness, or difficulty sleeping. These symptoms are generally manageable, but if they persist or become bothersome, it's important to consult a healthcare professional.
On a more serious note, there are potential severe side effects that require immediate medical attention. These include mental or mood changes like confusion and hallucinations, shaking or tremors, weakness, and an irregular heartbeat—whether fast, slow, or erratic.
Though rare, a very serious allergic reaction can occur. Be vigilant for signs such as a rash, itching or swelling (particularly of the face, tongue, or throat), severe dizziness, and difficulty breathing. Should these symptoms arise, seek emergency medical care without delay.
Remember, this is not an exhaustive list of side effects. If you observe any other unusual symptoms, contact your healthcare provider for advice.
Trispec Pse Interactions
Avoid taking specific MAO inhibitors with this medication, as doing so could lead to a severe, potentially life-threatening interaction. Specifically, do not use isocarboxazid, metaxalone, methylene blue, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, rasagiline, safinamide, selegiline, or tranylcypromine while on this medication. Additionally, most MAO inhibitors should be avoided for at least two weeks before starting treatment with this drug. Consult your doctor for guidance on when to begin or discontinue this medication.
Rolapitant is another substance that may interact with this medication. Furthermore, the ingredients in this drug are often found in various prescription and over-the-counter products. Carefully check the labels on all your medications to ensure you are not taking multiple products containing the same ingredients. If you are uncertain about the ingredients in your medications, seek advice from your pharmacist.
This medication may also affect certain medical and laboratory tests, such as urine 5-HIAA/VMA levels and brain scans for Parkinson's disease, potentially leading to incorrect results. It is important to inform lab personnel and all of your healthcare providers that you are using this medication.
