Tricitrates Side Effects
You might experience some mild side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach pain. These can often be managed by taking the medication with water or juice, after meals, and ensuring adequate fluid intake. If these symptoms persist or worsen, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional.
While most people do not experience serious side effects, there are some to be aware of. Contact your doctor immediately if you encounter severe stomach or abdominal pain, swelling in the hands, ankles, or feet, tingling or numbness in the hands or feet, weakness, irregular heartbeat, mental or mood changes such as confusion or restlessness, muscle spasms, seizures, bloody or black stools, or vomit resembling coffee grounds.
Allergic reactions to this medication are very rare, but require urgent medical attention if they occur. Symptoms may include rash, itching or swelling particularly of the face, tongue, or throat, severe dizziness, or difficulty breathing.
This list does not cover all possible side effects. If you notice any other unusual symptoms, reach out to a healthcare provider for guidance.
