While using this medication, some individuals may experience mild side effects such as dizziness, lightheadedness, weakness, nausea, flushing, constipation, or headaches. These effects are generally manageable, but if they persist or worsen, it is important to seek medical advice. To help prevent dizziness or lightheadedness, try standing up slowly from sitting or lying positions.
Severe side effects, though less common, require immediate attention. These include persistent nausea or vomiting, fainting, new or worsening heart failure symptoms like shortness of breath, swelling of ankles or feet, unusual tiredness, or sudden weight gain. Other serious symptoms to watch for include irregular or fast heartbeats, mood or mental changes such as depression or agitation, unusual dreams, severe stomach or abdominal pain, dark urine, or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
An allergic reaction to this medication is rare but can be serious. Symptoms such as rash, itching, swelling particularly of the face, tongue, or throat, severe dizziness, or difficulty breathing demand urgent medical care. If you observe any side effects not listed, contacting a healthcare provider for guidance is advisable.
